Shock! Actually posting something on my Live Journal. Calm down, there's a perfectly reasonable explanation for this. I don't want to mention fire breathing on PlanetDave.net because my mom reads that. This is stuff she doesn't need to know about.

I did some fire-breathing at work yesterday to get some pix. I'm pretty happy with the results.

And before someone else bitches about me holding the torch too far away from myself, I do that for a reason. If the wind shifts on me and I have a blowback, I have an extra split second to abort before burning out the insides of my sinuses.

For example:

The worst part is that people keep telling me these are the coolest photos.

I don't care how fucking cool it looks, it's not supposed to do that! (And it scared the piss out of me.) Out of the dozen or so blasts I did, there was only the one blowback. ... Mainly because it freaked me out and I stopped. For the record, the fire actually didn't get that close to me. It looks worse than it really was because of the camera angle.

Ok, there's probably an easier way to assemble a list of my friends on LiveJournal than creating a journal of my own. Whatever. Any actual blogging I do will probably continue to be at PlanetDave.net . This is primarily here for a handy list of my associates.
